having the brush and waterpick nozzle in one piece is efficient but personally I think the stand alone nozzle on the older waterpik (wp-110w) was much easier to aim at areas at the tooth and gum line versus the combo brush used with the new waterpik sonic 2.0.

One of the things I like best about this head, is that I can begin my water flossing just moments after turning on the waterpik brush.
The footprint of this newer Waterpik® SFRB-2EW! is smaller and yet seems to hold as much liquid. My teeth and mouth feel great!
