Great but could be improved.

The charging process is a pain. That craddle that is required is difficult to pack and store. Should just be able to use a cord.
Also, shaver should collect and hold cut wiskers. It needs to be cleaned after each shave or it spills, which is a pain.
But I like it otherwise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

At best Ok not as good as previous models wish old one still worked

I like the older design much better..... although the head flex's better I think the older models give a much better shave
Pros: flexible head
Cons: not a good shave, trimmer is not as good as old models with larger t, trimmer too small

Haven't used an electric razor for years. Last one was a Ronson, 40 years ago. This Philips gives a great shave and battery life is very good before requiring a charge. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Best Electric I've Used

I been using electric shavers for over 20 years and this razor is the best Phillips/Norelco I've ever owned. Whether shaving dry or wet, expect a very close shave. Using a foam shave cream on my medium beard, I can achieve the closeness of a traditional 3-4 blade razor. A dry shave is only slightly less close. It is super easy to clean and holds a charge for 2+ weeks. The only drawback is that the trimmer sits behind the blades which obscure the view if the trimmer. Pop off the blade head and problem is solved!
Pros: excellent job on tough places like chin., easy to maneuver, very close shave, easy to clean, excellent battery charge life
Cons: obscured view of trimmer, costly replacement blades

Best shave ever!

I tired of paying a small fortune for razor blades and decided I'd try an electric razor. After some research on the web, I decided on the SensoTouch 3D. I liked the idea of wet shaving, using shaving cream, as I have a course beard. It's the best decision I've made in years! I get a closer shave than with blades, no nicks or irritation! I love it and recommended it to all my friends.
Pros: fast close shave without irritation or nicks.
Cons: you must use the stand to charge it.
