Side blades are not as strong as earlier models. Its a fair product.
Pros: # 3 blades smooth shave.
Cons: side blades are weak.

This product is the most versatile shaver I've experienced. The shaves are closer than I ever imagined possible. The trimmer really trims close. Having used this product for over three months, I would not go back to the hassle of shaving with a blade.
Pros: ease of use
Cons: travel case needs to be sturdier.

First shave worked like a charm. Was hesitant because of past shaves w/ other razors that tore up my face while not getting it close. Zero irritation and great closeness that mirrored a blade shave. Looking forward to trying it w/ cream/gel in the shower. A+++
Pros: value/quality optional wet shave convenience
Cons: no self cleaning dock stand

It's the coolest looking shaver I ever owned. More importantly it gives me the closest shave without giving me any skin burn. I honestly can't tell the difference between manual shave and this shaver.
Docking one point for ease of use since the shaver doesn't hold the shaver hair very well. I also need to clean it after a shave or two. However this is pretty easy.
Pros: cool, close shave, long battery life
Cons: requires frequent cleaning, charging stand required for charging

I was not real happy with my Norelco AT895 which I have used for several years. I find that I do not shave as often as I did in the past (now retired), and it was difficult to get a clean shave with my current razor. I went on line and read multiple reviews which led me to the series 8000. This unit is fantastic. It easily gives me a clean shave even with a few days of beard. Rather than going over the same location 5 - 6 times I not get the shave I expect in 1 or 2 passes. I have not used the cleaning station as yet. I find it quite easy just to open the heads and brush them clean. I'll have to try this is the future. The unit is well worth the price and my face is much more comfortable with the reduced shaving stress.
