Disappointed to say the least.

I don't remember the model, but I purchased a China made Norelco and a close shave was a fantasy. Figuring the Dutch-made unit would be better I tried this one for a couple months and it did not shave worth a darn. took too long and would not shave coarser hairs at all. And no, I do not have a coarse beard I am Dutch. My old 965 RX Norelco runs circles around this thing. And who shaves wet with an electric? AND who wants to buy an expensive shave head every year?
Pros: excellent overall quality
Cons: not even close to the performance of my old norelc
Awkward to use. Case and charger are not conducive to travel.

The product is awkward to use. The case is "tight". To charge, the razor must be put in the stand, so the stand, which is bulky, must be taken when travelling.
The razor fits well in your hand and is very comfortable to use. the floating heads design is much better at getting around the curves of the neck at the throat and chin. Still a minor irritation to the skin because I have to go over the area under the chin several times to get all the stubble, it misses quite a bit the first time over.
This razor replaces my 10 year old Norelco. The new model has a more comfortable handle and provides a more effective shave with less effort. The only shortcoming is the design of the trimmer. Though it appears more durable than the previous design, it is more difficult to see where you are cutting as the shaving head is larger and more awkward to see around.
Pros: close shave with less effort, comfortable handle
Great product, close shave, flexible heads a plus. easy to clean, trimmer is fair, power last long time, fits hand well.
I would have given performance a 5 if the shave was just a tad better. in order to get a close shave I have to apply some pressure or go over the area over and over again... ... this irritates my face, especially around the neck area.
Not as good as a razor but its adequate. Expensive
although i have not purchased replacement heads, i understand that they are quite pricey which is a problem... but I will worry about that later.
Pros: good design, flexible heads, battery life
Cons: close shave but not as close as expected
I would recommend this to a friend!

The shaver has performed well. I enjoy the shave as it doesn't burn my skin as I thought might happen. It gives a great shave regardless if it is dry, with water, or with water & shaving cream. It would be nice if it would provide a closer shave as I'm having to shave twice if I have an evening appointment. Even shaving twice doesn't cause burning or other skin irritation.
Pros: good shave wet or dry., good battery life, simple to clean, water proof, floating heads
Cons: expensive replacement head, cleaning solution is required for cleanning cycle, shave is not as close as blades
I've had many electric shavers in my life and this one is by far the best. There nothing like shaving in the shower with shaving cream. When you are done just rinse it out and dry it off, you're done. With the 3-D feature you get the best shave possible. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I enjoy being able to clean the shaver in the sink. I believe it is the best yet at responding to the differing angles of my face. THe charge lasts for a couple of weeks.
