Easy to use, easy to charge, nice looking

I need a really close shave. I'll start with this, but still end up using a straight razor to get closer.
Easy to clean and maintain. Reordering parts (cover) was easy but the cover should have been built stronger.
Pros: great design, easy to use easy to charge, easy to clean
Cons: cover breaks easily, not a real close shave
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best electric shaver I've ever owned !

I love this shaver! Had it for several months now and it still shaves like new. Battery stays charged for several weeks after only a 15 minute charging. I have owned every brand of shaver you can buy and this one out performs all of them by a long shot. Love being able to shave either wet or dry as well as a simple rinse under the sink to clean. I clean it once every two weeks with the Philips spray cleaning solution. Well worth the price!!

I really like the design of this shaver. I've been using the floating triple-head shavers for 30 or so years now. I would prefer that they go back to the feature of adjustable closeness of shave. I don't have a terribly thick or coarse beard, but this shaver will not shave as closely as a blade.

I believe I had tried every shaver on the planet prior to buying this Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D Electric razor 1250X 3 level battery display with GyroFlex 3D Shaver and UltraTrack Shaver Heads. I used to have a very hard time getting the white hairs that grew on my neck. Now this Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3d clips them all with ease. Thanks Philips.

The razor worked great the first week. Then it started to "leak" residue hair all over my bathroom sink. It really ticked my wife off. I don't like the charger because you have to leave it in the stand. This razor does not travel well because you have to bring the whole stand to recharge the razor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much improved over prior generation

Have always liked rotory razors but the 3D is vastly improved over the earlier generation of Philips Norelco razors like the Arcitec(which was still a very good razor).
The 3D technology is much quieter and provides an even closer shave.
