I have used a Phillips shaver for the past 10 years or so. My last one I had for about 7 or 8 years and gave it to my son-in-law and he is using it part time. I purchased this one and like it very much. Only thing is I feel that the old blades (before the replacement) performed better than the new ones I have now.
Pros: light weight and lasting charge
Cons: blades don't seem to be as sharp.

Provides the best electric shave I've ever had. Easy and quick to get a full charge and once charged, lasts longer than other Norelco shavers I've had. The only drawback is the sideburns trimmer is too small and inconvenient to use.
Pros: quick charge and long lasting.
Cons: sideburns trimmer too small.

Blades are still closer and smoother

I use my Norelco everyday, my wife bought it for me last year. Its nice but actually takes me longer to shave with then a blade after a shower. I find it easier and faster to shave under my nose with a standard throw away blade. I hope my wife does not see this as I do not want to hurt her feelings.
Pros: can shave dry
Cons: a blade is smoother and closer

The Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D electric shaver is just awesome! I received it as a gift because I vowed to never waste my time or money on another electric shaver. It turned out to be one of the best gifts I've ever received. Unlike other electric shavers, the Phillips SensoTouch 3D leaves my face super smooth (no bumpy red neck). free of stubble, doesn't discharge constantly, and can be used wet or dry. I didn't think it was possible to get this close of shave with an electric shaver but I was wrong. The Phillips SensoTouch 3D is everything the ads promised and more. I highly recommend this product to skeptics everwhere. Mark

I have never used an electric razor before and found this razor to preform well. The only problem was shaving close while triming around my mustache and sideburns. Overall it gives a good shave.
