bought this model because it had a pop up trimmer.

However, the pop up trimmer is very small and it doesn't project out very far. The shaving head is so large it is very difficult to see what you are trimming with the trimmer on you mustache in the mirror...sideburns a little better. On the bright side the shaver portion works well shaving close with little irritation. The space behind the heads accumulates whiskers quickly and if not cleaned after each use dumps them on your clothing or sink... a minor issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have used electric for over 65 years and this is the best yet. I have had 3 Norelco's before this one
One caveat the charger connection in the base is awkward to manage, insertion and removal

Get this and your scruffy teenaged son will look sharp. It was the ONLY thing that worked for him (me) after many $$$ spent on fancy razors. My friend followed my lead and got one for her son, and she is thrilled also. The cost is worth every penny.

doesnt shave close to my nose and doesnt get my neck very well. the trimmer is really noisy.the cutter speed could be faster
Pros: light and pivots well
Cons: doesnt cut as good as my old razor did

Seems that the charge cable should be left in the stan as the battery doesn;t seem to last long enough. With the cord in the stand it removes the sleekness. Side burn trimmer needs to lock - when you push down to get those last hair the cutter retracts and no cutting takes place.
Pros: no skin burn
Cons: travel case too big - remove heads

Have only one small complaint, The holder is a little to flimsey when you try to put in cord for charging
