Great razor and wonderful shave. Easy to use and cuts any length of stubble or hair. Gives a close shave.
Simplicity of design warrants only full head replacement. Very easy to replace and keeps cutters and combs together for continuity. Self cleaning mechanism works well.
Only two potential challenges. Most will see that these are merely points of operation and should be understood before buying the device.
Cleaning fluid has to be replaced every two weeks to keep the shaver clean. That could get a bit expensive for some. Razor heads last only about a year. Should replace them that often anyway, yet most would like to get more than a year out of heads.

I purchased this product after having the Cool Skin and the arctic RQ1050 electric shavers.
I can tell that for me this is a state of the art shaver, especially as a customer who have a sensitive skin.

I like the ability to use a cream or a lotion of my choice and shave using the machine.
The shaver have improved shaving heads, so it catches the hair more easily.

The soft case provided with the machine isn't comfortable to use.
It feels that it's not designed well to this machine.
The hard case that was provided with the RQ1050 arcitec machine, which could be also used for charging is much much better.

Bought this for husband.Pickup a cheaper brand 1st then realized it didn't hold up and work like the Philips. I won't make that mistake again!!

The best shave in 55 yrs of shaving - blade or electric (old-time barbers not included)!

Simply and consistently gives me the best shave in 55 years of shaving. Better than any other electric; better than any blade; without irritation or ingrown hairs; and a pleasure to hold, use and clean.
The only thing that I can think of that would improve its use would be a travel stand that packed in to the same case as the shaver.

Good Product but still getting used to this model versus my old Norelco

Like the shaver, but I am still getting used to it. I had been using an older Phillips Norelco shaver with the flex heads and multiple blades. I was satisfied with the shaver but decided it was time for a new one with even a more flexible heads. Although I find the new shaver to be more flexible, it still is taking a while to get used to the heads and the best way to hold the razor and manipulate the heads for the best shave.

I enjoy the product; but, 2 failed because the internal electrical power contacts get corroded. The two failed units just stopped and I couldn't start them again. The housing isn't sealed and I expect that the designers thought the internal area would simply dry out. The jury is still out on my 3rd unit.
Pros: nice wet shave capability
Cons: electrical problem with internal contact corrosion
