Best bang for the buck

You do have to spend over $100 for a good shaver and this one has met and exceeded my expectations. Love the fact you can use it with shaving cream. Holds a charge for a loooong time. The cleaner base works well and doesn't take up too much room and packs away well. Only drawback i can for-see is the cost for replacement heads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Completely satisfied with my 3D touch and with today’s prices of regular razor blades this purchase makes total sense. I am done with the 21 one day trial and just simply cannot say enough about the positive experience. I was a past regular user of Norelco electric razor products as a young man. I decided to go with regular blades for a more professional appearance and choose to give Norelco a second chance due to the extreme prices. Nothing negative comes to mind and want to say I get the professional appearance results and prefer to use wet over dry.
Pros: easy to use no irritation
Cons: none

Have to shave over same area over and over and over to get close shave. Other than that everything first rate.
3d is a big improvement over other models! It gives me great shaves!
Pros: smooth shaves

I have been using this electric razor now for at least 4 months now and couldn't be happier. I received a different electric with a self-cleaning base for Christmas and was unhappy with it's daily performance. Since I had to shave every morning for work, this became a problem since it couldn't get the stubble closer to my skin. I was able to return it but I loved the self-cleaning feature which saves a lot of time of having to clean the razor for optimal performance. Then I found this Philips Norelco that self-cleans, shaves as close as a wet-razor every morning, and can still mow through a week-old beard when you need it to. The battery lasts me all week before I have to leave the charger on which only takes an hour for a full recharge!
My only gripe about this razor is the trimmer which doesn't cut very well at all and is quite on the noisy side. With all the noise it makes when you put it to your side burns, you would think it would be cutting a lot more.
All-in-all, I couldn't be happier with this razor.
Pros: self-cleaning base, battery life, shaves close, fast recharge
Overall, the design of the product is top notch. The shave experience is smooth and leaves no irritation. Closeness of the shave is good, just still not as close as a blade, but afterall, it is an electric and not a blade.
The razor portion works well enough. The trimmer was clearly mis-engineered. It is feeble in comparison to my old norelco and it is near impossible to use as it sits behind the rotating blades so far you can see it well enough to use it as precisely as it needs to be. I have been forced to revert back to my old razor to trim around my beard. Would not recommend this one to anyone with facial hair!
This razor is the best electric razor I have ever purchased. It is simple to use and clean. It is not cheap, but worth every penny. I bought it when my wife told me how much we were spending on disposable blade razors. I will never regret that I did.
