The only negative I can find is the trimmer. I wish they would make a better one incorporated into this product.

Great electric shaver!

I had another model of the Phillips Norelco for a few years and decided to upgrade to the SsnsoTouch 3D.I love the way it pivots, easy to clean and you always know how much battery life you have before you need to recharge.
If you are an electric shaver guy I highly recommend this product!

I have had this razor for months now, can't seem to get that "RAZOR" close shave you guys rave about. It leaves a lot behind. So after I get through shaving with it I sometimes touch up with the "Nivea" razor that seems to shave better. And this morning I was so disgusted with it I broke out a track-3 and gave myself a nice close shave.
Pros: holds a long charge
Cons: doesn't add up to the hype !!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but could be better

I like the razor overall. I would say it shaves better than the 6 year old Norelco model it replaced. Likes are closeness of shave and style/design. Dislikes are a need to clean after every single use. The whisker chamber holds so little shavings it will gum-up the heads if you fail to brush it out or clean it more fully every time. Also, you really need to use the razor no less than every other day. If you allow your beard to grow 3+ days this razor is not able to plow through the growth without going back over the same area numerous times. The powered cleaning system it good, but the fluid is fairly expensive. I do not like the travel pouch design. Not as good as others I've had from Phillips.
Pros: reasonably close shave, good battery life, thorough cleaning system
Cons: need to clean every time, not effective on more than 2 days growth, travel pouch a bit funky (style over form)

This product is very good. I recommend the CC version. Only complaint is that I get bad razor burn if i dont use rubbing alcohol after shaving. I have really sensative skin though.

I have had all the electric shavers to date and none can compare with the sensotouch3d. high performance plus quiet that i hardly notice that i am shaving yet it is the closest electric shave i have ever had. very comprable to wet shaving without the nicks and scrapes. thanx a lot.
Pros: quiet
Cons: none
