This is the only electric shaver I've ever been able to get a good shave with. It does an excellent job of giving a clean, close shave whether I use it dry or with shaving cream. It's nice to finally ditch the blade. My beard seems to grow in about five different directions, and this shaver gets them all, every time. I also really like the Jet Clean system. It's unique and effective. I don't cycle my shaver through it every day; usually every 2nd or 3rd day, with a simple hot water rinse on the days I don't use the system, but it gives me confidence that the heads should remain in good condition until the replacement interval. It's actually pleasurable to shave with this unit. Great job, Philips!

Great electric razor!

I have sensative skin and this electric razor does the job! Not quite as close of a shave as a regular razor but its good enough!
Pros: easy on the skin, self cleaning system is great, easy to use & clean

i have always use a razor i tried electric shavers in the past and they just did not shave close for me i asked a friend how he shaved he said i us the phillips norelco sensotouch his face was clean and free of shaving cuts i went and purphase one this is it close,smooth,easy to use i am still waiting for a problem to arise i have to get my momies worth and i have THANKS.

good design easy to hold and use.Cleans easily under running water.However does not seem to shave close enough without several passes over face and then takes a while to get a reaaly close shave.

I have extremely senstive skin, so I was concerned about purchasing an electric razor. I'm glad I spent the money on this one because it gives a great, close shave every time and I have had no problems with skin sensitivity or irritation! The jet clean system works very well too. The only negative thing I've found is sometimes with the head design, it's hard to reach places like the area direcly underneath your nose etc. (where I could imagine a traditionally shaped razor would not experience the same isssue). But after some practice you can get those tough areas eventually. Overall a great product!
Pros: close shave, does not irritate skin, water resisitant, jet clean system works very well
Cons: razor head has some problems reaching crevaces

A suggestion though. Redesign the charging system. When I travel, I have to take the whole system, including the base/stand in order to charge the shaver. If the charging cord could be plugged directly into the shaver rather than the stand, I could leave the stand home. Redesign the carrying case along the lines of my old Model 985RX Shaver. It held the shaver and the charging cord in a nice compact case. Just a thought...

I was a long time Braun user until my very expensive unit failed and needed repair.
I purchased the Senso Touch and after getting use to it have been getting excellent close shaves!
Compared to the Braun it is quiet and smoother.
