[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used my oven for the first time with some very wonderful observations. The oven door window is large and light is very bright which is great for watching my food cook. I really loved the easy glide shelf racks. Easy to use! My pie browned evenly and cooked beautifully with true temp feature. No more guessing if the oven is too hot or not hot enough!! I set the oven on 425 degrees and it only took approximately 6 minutes to preheat. Really like the hidden bake element and 7 levels for the shelves. Bakes evenly on 2 shelves on levels B and D. I bought the Profile to coordinate with my GE Profile microwave and we love the look! I have not used the proofing option yet but love to bake bread so can't wait to use it. We got a great deal at our local store where we have always gotten wonderful support and service! We are very pleased with our new built-in wall oven & would highly recommend it!

Everything right about an oven

New to Convection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a complete kitchen remodel and went with all GE appliances. I choose this oven to go under a GE gas cooktop. I also have an Advantium 240 at eye level. Learning to convection can be tricky. I wish there was a time conversion chart somewhere. I am learning though. So far everything has turned out good. Being summer, and hot this year, I haven't done alot of baking....yet. Baking season is on the way (Holidays) and I am really looking forward to multiple cookie racks with cookies perfectly baked and browned. I did do a pie that turned out beautiful, lovely crust! Oven does seem to pre heat slowly. I love the interior rack features.

Awful!

Oven constantly turns off (over heats) or won’t turn on. I have to go and reset it by flipping the breaker! Was told it’s because the vent is on the top of the door which over heats the circuit board. I’m on my second circuit board and the same issue has started again after 9 months. I’m currently looking into buying another wall oven since this one is nothing but a nuisance! Oven came with the house so it wasn’t my choice.

I bought this to replace a 20 year old unit. I also bought a complete GE Microwave /Convection oven as a built in above it. So I have 2 separate convection ovens. This one cooks sheets of cookies very good. My wife loves it. This is our first Convection oven, so we are still learning to cook with it. It is very nice and improves the whole look of the kitchen. My wife uses this more than me.......this oven is on her side of the kitchen. I have the messy side with the induction cooktop. She got the better part of the deal. No clean up to do.
