i was excited to buy a new norelco shaver. my old norelco is about 10 years old. i thought, for sure, that modern technology would be far more advanced. my old shaver with a new shaving head is still much better than this model. i have returned it

Poorly designed charging stand

I've been using Norelco shavers for 45 years, but I'm very unhappy with this one. The stand is very poorly designed. It folds, so it has to be open just to the right position to hold the shaver. Then it's so top heavy that the slightest bump knocks it off. Then the whole thing comes apart. I can't imagine why they designed a shaver to require a stand. It's bulky and inconvenient to travel with. Apparently the person who designed this one never had to use it.
Pros: good shave as always
Cons: bad design. terrible charging stand

It is a good shaver, only one problem is getting accustomed to the need to change the head for shaving to trimming. All my previous Norelco shavers had the trimmer built in and easy to flip open, but You will get used to the changing heads,Mitch us simple. Good shaver .
