It is difficult to get a close shave with an electric razor. I have had several Phillips/Norelco rotary head razors which I believe shave closer then other types of razors. This new Senso Touch 1160 shaves as close as any rotary head razor, but takes longer, then older models I have owned. Overall, an acceptable shave at an acceptable price.
Pros: lightweight and easy to handle, heads easy to clean
Cons: battery life not a long as previous models, unattached trimmer annoying
The Dry shave is ok with the electric razor though leaves some bumpy head. Wet shave is complete diaster. It is not worth the money
Pros: overall ok
Cons: bad wet save

Much worse than the old Norelco I had

I got this thing for Christmas 2012. Have already had to replace the blade head after 6 months which was in June. Now it looks like I will need another one by December. More $$$ for Phillips! The shaver has a major flaw - the head assembly just snaps on with a little clip. If you shave a little too fast or press a little too hard, the head flies right off the body, hits the ground and comes apart. This happens once or twice a shave to me. A real pain. Wish I had my old 800 series back. Blades changed once a year, no problems with it. The Jet Clean is nice but is mostly just for show. You could run it under water for a few minutes and do just as good a job.
Pros: good battery life
Cons: head flies off too easy, blades bad in 6 months, jet clean not worth it

Shaver worked o.k. Just felt it never really got that close of shave and then the battery went totally dead in less than a year and I didn't even use it once a day.
Pros: none
Cons: short life for the cost.

Does not give close shave at all...have to use a disposable razor afterwards to actually feel shaved
Pros: wet use
Cons: shaving

This razor is very attractive looking in the box, but it is horrible. I have a defined jaw line and thought this razor would do well on it. I was terribly wrong. I have used bottom end razors that have done a better job than this one. I followed the directions of stretching my face to get a closer shave but if I'd stretched anymore I would've had to had a face lift before i got all the stubble.
Cons: leaves stubble, very pricey, cheap head

I have shaved with this electric razor several times in every direction possible. It leaves small patches everywhere. I have had to go back to a regular razor and finish shaving every time I have used it.
The razor is better than prior Phillips products that I have used for many years. It shaved better right out of the box than what I expected and the battery lasts quite a bit longer than it says it would.
I had paid more for this product and expected more--I was favorably rewarded. I would heartily recommend this shaver to anyone who wants a close, comfortable shave and easy upkeep!
