Needs work?

I buy the product then have to pay an arm and a leg for blades. C'mon. How about a break on the cost of the blades? It will encourage me to continue with the product line if you make it worth my time and money. Seriously make the product line more USER friendly. thanks.
The razon gave a close comfortable shave but the green plastic that holds the blades is cheap, hard to insert and easily broken. The Cleaning process with the large chamber is awkward, large and a bother to use.
I returned shaver and got a cheaper model that didn't shave as well but was a lot easier to use and to clean.
Pros: close shave
Cons: blades fall out when cleaning, cleaning module a pain to use
Used razor for years. 1st electric razor I have owned. Gives a good shave except around mouth. I can not get a close shave there.
Pros: fairly close shave
Cons: not a close shave around mouth
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't like it

Doesn't get all the hair, I have to destroy my face and it will still leave some random hair. Very bad razor burn from this, I moved to a straight razor that works perfect and no burn.
Pros: good for people with no facial hair or baby hair.
The only occasional need I have is blade replacement, and not always easily accessible in my area.

I have used this razor for both head and face for several years now. It is smooth, easy to handle and cut's close even through a couple days of growth if/when I choose to be lazy. Thanks for the great device!

Disappointed

I've uses Norelco Shavers for 25 plus years, so since my AT880 was getting a little worn, I decided to upgrade to the New 6500. I am totally disappointed: 1. I does not shave any better than my old AT880, 2. The floating head assembly is bulky and clumsy, 3. Having to change the head for trimming is a nuisance, 4. The unit is larger, and with the separate trimmer make it impractical for travel. I'm returning it and continuing to use my ols AT880 until I find a better alternative.

Had one about a year and it died. Paid a bunch for less that a year product. Also the head pops off if you don't hold it just right. Really this is what I get for $$$$?
Back to Braun

Hello,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you’ve had a disappointing experience with our Philips Dry electric shaver. You may adapt the below given steps for best shaving technique and get good results.
• Move the shaving heads over the skin, making both straight and circular movements.
• Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get accustomed to this Philips system.
• To prevent damage, put the protection cap on the shaver after use.
Your first shaves may not give you the result you expect and your skin may even become slightly irritated. This is not uncommon since your skin and beard need time to adapt to any new shaving system. It is recommended to take into account an adaptation period of 3 weeks, during which you should shave regularly (at least 3 times per week) to allow your hair and skin to adapt to the new shaver.
During this period, use your new electric shaver exclusively and do not alternate shaving methods; alternating shaving methods makes it more difficult to adapt to the new shaving system. If the problem still persists we would request you to contact our Consumer Care team by accessing the below link: http://philips.to/19esV9w .Thanks.
