problem with charging cable

this unit is my 5th philips norelco shaver but this unit
charging cable is defect ,the cable's plastic cover comes off and inside two cable (red and black)comes out so easily,I hope to use better quality cable in the future,
overall norelco shaver is the best shaver for sure.

The one problem I have with it with limited use (3 months) is
that my older titanium blade norelco cut closer, quicker and cleaner.
This one works but it takes more effort on my part.

Great shave

I have been using Norelco shavers for 20+ years and have had a 1090x for the last 4+. I did not think that Norelco would be able to improve upon the shaving head of the 1090 which has 3 triple track cutting combs and really gives a close, comfortable, and quick shave. Much to my surprise the shavig head was improved and as such flexes closer to the skin for and even better shave. Kudos Norelco! The few draw backs are that the re-designed head is larger and as a result does not easily get in tight areas (under the nose, around the ears). The trimmer must be used for these areas which means swapping the shaving head for the trimmer. The only other draw back is the lack of a charger/travel case like the 1090X. You must take the charging stand with you when traveling which I have forgotten on occasion--somewhat cumbersome and another item to get the attention of the good TSA folks!
Pros: reduced shaving time, improved shaving results
Cons: trimmer not built in, no travel/charger case
I would recommend this to a friend!
