I have been a Norelco user for many years. This is the best one so far.The reason for almost totally pleased is even having received a very good shave using the dry feature I wanted to try the wet shave. I used a well know shaving cream and I do not think the results were of any better significant than the dry shave.I was truly looking for a more complete smooth shave but was not satisfied. I may give it another attempt and if I do and find the results any different I will amend my opinion. Thanks

As a Senior (75) there are a lot of lines and crevices to shave and get into. I often had a raw face from the razor and used lots of creams or lotions. Since using the Norelco, my face is not chafed and the shaver does the job well! I don"t need the lotions anymore.

The cleaning station quit cleaning and charging after just over a year of use. I received this on 16FEB2015 as a gift, 21FEB2016 was the last time the cleaning arm moved, 22FEB2016 was the last time the charging station charged. I now have to charge with the folding cradle that came with the kit. The razor works as expected and I have enjoyed it, but the whole kit as sold is a let down. It feels as though it was perfectly designed with the 1yr manufacturer warranty as the end state. If the cleaning station is important to you, look elsewhere.
Pros: the razor is smooth quiet and comfortable
Cons: cleaning station is not trustworthy

Good for a fast and quick shave

The product fairs okay for quick shave especially when you don't have to look for shaving cream and blade. The performance is fair but for me I have not found it to give a deep shave. So by afternoon your stubs are back.
Pros: fast and quick, no burning/itching, no worries about cuts

I have had this product for a few weeks now and find it to be good at what it is supposed to do. It takes me a little longer than I expected to get a good shave but that may change over time as my face and the shaver become better acclimated. I find it a little loud. It retains it's charge well and recharges quickly. I am not crazy about the trimmer as an attachment instead of being integrated with the shaver but that does not cause me a real problem overall. I have been a Norelco user for over 20 years and recently tried a higher-end product in a competitor's line but it just didn't do the job.
