This product is not as effective as my 10 year old Norelco budget razor.

This product really cuts up my skin, and does not really shave very close. I am disappointed in this product.
Pros: convenient
Cons: not close shave

The product does not give a ggod shave compared to my previous Norelco shaver. I am totally dissappointed with its performance. It's difficult to cover all the surface of the shaving area. It seems like the three heads are too big to get to all spots.
I would not recommend it after having three other Norelco shavers.
Pros: none

This is the third Norelco Razor I've owned. I was a little upset when I couldn't find repair parts for my old Norelco Advantage. After reading the negative reviews I was hesitant to purchase this product. I've had the razor for over three weeks now and am pleased with the improvements over the old Advantage. I've used it dry, with shaving cream, electric shave, and soap in the shower. I was impressed by the closeness. Compared with a blade razor, this model is great. This razor disassembles and cleans up in a snap. The long lasting battery is a plus. After three weeks I'm still using the initial charge.
Pros: close shave wet or dry, easy to disassemble and clean, long lasting battery charge

I replace my old razor with this one only to find that my old razor had more openings on the head for a faster smoother shave.

I had concerns about switching from multi-blade razor to an electric shavor due to an unsatisfactory previous experience.
After much research I went with the 1160XCC and I a am extreamly satistified and pleased with;
1.Close, clean, and smooth shave with no skin irritation.
2. Easy to use and clean trimmer attachement.
3. Convienence of quick shaves on the go.
4. The effiecient and time saving Jet Clean system that keeps razor charged and ready to use.
5. The long chagre time and travel pouch makes traveling a breeze.
6. And it looks very stylish.
I could not ask for more.
Pros: ease of use and maintenence

I wanted to stop spending on new blades for safety razors and decided to try this product. I am going back to using the old fashioned razors that gave me a consistent close shave. The Norelco I bought leaves a noticeable stubble and an unsatisfactory shave after repeatedly going over my face in all directions.

Upon using this shaver I like its feel in my hand, its quiet opperation, it gives as good a shave as any razer about a 98% effective shave, its cleaning station is quiet, I like how it cleans and then sits without charging the shaver so as not to overcharge, I like the seperate trimming device, it is streamlined and it feels good to shave with.
Pros: see above
Cons: no cons yet give me another year to evaluate this

The 2-way flexing heads are great.

I have preferred Philips Norelco razors for many years because the shave is superior to other rotaries and is more durable than foils. This SensoTouch replaces an Arcitec and has some features I like better and others I don't like as well. It's lighter and requires less effort to get a nice shave; however, you have to take the head apart for cleaning and it tends to fly off rather easily when shaving.
The Jet Clean system is really cool. It's programmed to start & stop the motor several times and lift & submerge the razor while charging the battery at the same time. I use it when the razor needs re-charging and rinse it by hand otherwise.
Pros: nice shave with little effort
Cons: have to separate the head for rinsing, head tends to fly off while shaving
I would recommend this to a friend!
