Not suited for traveling

You have to use a stand for charging which makes it difficult to pack in a shaving kit,trimmer is not attached to razor and could be misplaced or lost.It does give a good shave and is easy to clean,but not worth the trouble of charging it and using the trimmer.
Pros: close shave, easy cleaning
Cons: charging stand not suitable for traveling, trimmer not attached to razor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I get very close shaves with this razor. The only thing I don't like about it is the combs don't seem to be removable. This may be intentional to keep you from mixing up the heads. I still would like the ability to remove them for easier cleaning.
Cons: the combs do not appear to be removable.

Flimsy for the price

Overall this razor provides a close shave; the closest shave I have experienced out of my previous Norelco razors. Using this shaver with shaving foam does not work for me. It actually irritates my face and I do not get a good shave with foam. Instead, I use pre-shave lotion which provides just enough gliding to give me a nice shave.
For the price, this razor is a but flimsy. In less than 1 year I've had to have 2 pieces replaced. Thankfully Philips stands by their products and I received the replacement parts with no problems (but it did take a while). The travel pouch that comes with this razor is also not very high quality. For the price, this razor should be of stronger quality and the case should be better.
Overall I would recommend this product because it gives a great shave, but I do feel that it is quite flimsy and I am considering trying out another product or going back to manual razors.
Pros: close shave, long battery life, easy to clean
Cons: flimsy, cheap travel pouch, cannot be used with cord

Great product but I feel that not all hair types are considered HAIR

I have tried different types of electrics. this one is far superior but being someone of mixed nationalities and races, this unit still does not work as well as an old fashion ordinary razor for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was excited to try the new design but must admit I think I like the old design and performance better.
