I absolutely enjoy shaving with my new Phillips razor. It is the first electric razor I ever had that can be used with shaving cream. With the shaving cream, my skin feels smooth and clean after I shave. It isn't red and irritated, as with my previous razor. I always used a pre-shave lotion, but my skin still was irritated afterwards. Now, I get a really close shave and all I need to do is rinse off my face and apply a nice after shave, to be ready for the new day.
Pros: extra close and clean shave, can use shaving cream, ergonomic design
Cons: price seems a bit high

This shaver is OK, not great

Invariably, though I have shaved an area many times over stubble remains.
Pros: design is easy to hold
Cons: doesn't leave a clean shave

I have used Phillips (Norelco) products for many years with satisfaction. The older Model Norelco Speed XLs (shaving) performed much better than the 1160X model. I have gone back to my old model with dull blades and it still performs better than the newer model.
Pros: very quiet and fits hand.
Cons: difficult to clean shaving heads

I don't use my shaver all the time but like it for a quick clean up when I'm running late or really don't have the time for cream and blade. So far it's done what I've wanted it to do.
Pros: nice design, clean up is easy

I shave each night before going to bed and it only takes about 5 - 7 minutes to get a clean shave. No nicks, and easy on my skin. Very happy so far!

I was a loyal blade shaver for 40 years. I made the transition to an electric shaver for medical reasons. The shaver does a good job. It is not the extreme close shave that I had been used to. I had som difficulty learning how to use the shaver . With continued use I have made progress in getting a close shave. I think the design is good an I would recommend this product.
