The best razor I have owned.

This 1160X is very easy to clean, a very close shave and it seems as though the charge lasts forever (approx. 2 mo.).
Pros: long-lasting charge

Better than any electric shaver I've ever owned, previous Norelcos included

I was looking for a new electric shaver as mine was nearly 15 years old. Having been very pleased with my Norelco, I concentrated my search on that brand. I chose the Norelco 6500 because it had all the features I was looking for. It was cordless, could shave wet/dry, and its heads adjusted to the contours of my face. Plus, the price was a good bargain.
From the first time I used it, I was pleased beyond belief. The shave was even less irritating to my skin. My skin felt smooth cheeks to neck. Surprising to me, the charge lasted for over two weeks (I only shave every other day, but the closeness of the Norelco 6500 allows that). Would I recommend this product to others? That'd be an unqualified, resounding "Yes!"

i m 69 yrs old and I travel quit often . I have many meetings and stay in many hotels. I also like to cruise the seas world wide. sometimes I just need a quick touch up and pther times I need a good close shave. I ndont have to pack shaving cream, all thou I due use electri shave before I shave. this shaver is the best electric shaver I have ever owned, I don't just think its good but its great

The charging stand is very light weight in comparison to the razor itself which led to it falling over a while back when the razor was placed in the charger to charge. The little tumble caused the razor blade cover to break and not snap on anymore. Other than this little mishap, the razor has been an excellent piece as have the other many Norelco products I've used throughout the years.
I have a relatively thick beard and the razors are still cutting fine after 9 months.
The battery life has been very good - still lasting three weeks between charges.
Keep it up!
