This is my third Norelco shaver and certainly the best yet. Although I do miss the extra blades in my Speed XL overall I like this shaver better.
Pros: gyroflex 2d, razer shape make it easy to hold
Cons: miss the extar blade of the speed xl
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takesme longer to get a clean shave with this product than it did with blade razor. I have to go over the same area of my face a number of times and very slowly in order to receive as clean a shave as i used to with a blade.
I have sensitive skin and this razor shaves without irritation. Manual says that you will see best results after using for three weeks. I saw better results after just a few days and have been happy with the performance of this razor. The razor has been very easy to clean and maintain. Definitely feel I made a good choice on this razor. The only thing I would change about the design is being able to directly plug into the razor for charging. This is not a probelm at home, but you must take your stand for charging when you travel.
Pros: smooth shave, ease of use, very light weight
Cons: have to charge with stand (not good for travel)
The Norelco 1160 shaver has met my expectations and more. It replaced a corded Norelco that I had for many years. I am now getting a closer shave in less time. Recharging the battery in only an hour is a great feature. The package included an extra set of heads which made my purchase an even better bargain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have many Norelco shavers, including the single blade versions of 1950, 1960, and 1970. I also have the Rotatract 850RX, 8140XL and now the RQ11 Sensotouch. Most of them were registered with you, but I never had any trouble. They could even be dropped without damage. As a matter of fact, I have them in front of me. My RQ11 worked for several months, but when I tried to remove the head to clean it, all the inside parts flew out and scattered all over the room. I could not find the tiny spring for one of the blades. I went online and ordered another from Norelco, and after I waited 3 weeks, it arrived in a strong clear container. I took a boxcutter and when I removed the side of the plastic. The head was intact, so I tried to put it on my Sensotouch. When I pressed down on one of the 3 sides, the head came off and fell on the floor. The little black cylinder over the spring and the spring disappeared. I called your Customer Service again, and explained to the rep. He listened carefully, but finally decided to send me another head. I was grateful then and I am grateful now. However, no replacement head has arrived, and I am back to using the HQ9 8140XL that I have been using for 6 years already. I hope somebody will find out why the heads fly apart and send me one that stays on and doesn't fly apart.
Pros: responsive customer service so far, previus designs were excellent, i can still use my old shavers, i worked for philips in nyc, please send me another head, help
Cons: your designer went too far, it it fell on the floor it would probably never w
The electric razor shaves quite close and gives a very comfortable shave. Using my usual shaving gel gives no electric razor burn. The only draw back that I see is one has to change heads to use the trimmer function, so I usually don't. No big deal. It seems to hold a charge very well.
Pros: very comfortable close shave, no razor burn after a shave, holds a charge well
Cons: have to change heads to use trimmer function
