this was a fun build. the only thing I would fix is the suspenion. Stability cross bars on the front and back axles. Other than that, I liked all the different ways you can change the looks of the Land Rover

I'm an avid Lego enthusiast and pass the time building lots of Lego sets. I saw this at the store and thought it would be great to build. Its a solid big set. Had fun putting this together. Packaging was well organized and easy to understand.

Intricate Build

I have built dozens and dozens of Lego vehicles, as well buildings, and the Defender ranks as one of the most intricate and challenging builds I have done. This is a good thing. I really enjoyed the challenge of this set and love the way the vehicle’s suspension works and the finished truck looks terrific. As always, the price is steep but this did have over 2,300 pieces. Highly recommend.

Excited for the LAND ROVER CLASSIC 90 drawing

I have wanted this one like forever. When I saw it to be a drawing entry! Omg! I have waited for this one!! I have my mom order legos. I mentioned to her I would like this Rover Classic! She entered the drawing for me. I had her enter so she could take a break on spending her hard earned money on me. I love legos, but I love her more.

Wicked Awesome Rover

Love the color of it and always have been a fan of the Creator, now Icons vehicles. Couldn't wait to add this to my already built collection. The inner workings are awesome, the modifications that can be made based on the build you prefer are also awesome too! Love this set. Only con was the price of it.

Color issues, so many color issues with the body.

About a dozen or more of the large 1x6 body bricks and some smaller ones, all the green body color, very drastically in color. Some are so light they stand out so bad. I'm really disappointed in spending this kind of money. I have been seeing massive issues with bricks still having a rough edge from were they are cut from the mold too. It's almost like lego is using cheaper materials but yet charging more. I saw this on my titanic build as well as color variances like on this set. Honestly I would give this set 5 stars but the fact this made it off the line with 12+ bricks with very obvious color issues telles me the quality control is tanking. Sad to see lego might be going down the same path as so many other companies, cheeper products same price ore more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
