This is a really great set, but really disappointed in 1 aspect. Once it's all built and you stand it on a table, the "base plate" stands off the table slightly in the lower left corner. The result is a streetlight that appears to be standing crooked. Really takes away from it IMO.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oh no! Sorry that everything wasn’t awesome with the Red London Telephone Box. We work hard to make sets that everyone can enjoy and your feedback helps us make them even better. We’ll share your comments with our design teams to help with future sets.
I've just completed the phone box itself. Now on to the lovely sidewalk and gate. I'm really enjoying this build and all the lovely details. The only problem I had was with the tiny stickers, as my hands tend to shake. Other than that, fantastic!
As always while doing my annual Lego set, the experience includes making mistakes, and swearing I am missing pieces :) But everything turned out fine and this product displays very nicely. I figure in my later years doing a Lego set annually helps keeps my mind a little sharper, plus lots of fun in the experience!
I saw an original red telephone box at Liverpool Cathedral in England, as the archetect who designed the Cathedral also designed the original telephone box. Building was no problem, yet I had the impression that there were two builds that could be done separately: the telephone box itself, and the place where it sits. I had fun building both parts, and had some left-over pieces as I chose the A and B button variety, as I had used such phones as a child. It took but a few hours, and I really enjoyed the build. Highly recommended; delightful and nostalgic!!
