A Must Have for Anglophiles

I only really started collecting after this set retired, but was lucky enough to pick it up below retail recently. It looks fantastic on the shelf. The iconic red phonebooth really pops.
Pros:
2 Build Options (Modern & Retro)
Light brick (This was such a fun surprised - I've never had a set that included a light brick before and it makes such a big difference, I wish more sets included them)

Cons:
Phonebook should've had a stud to rest on (it just rattles around inside)
The lamppost is very wobbly (but this is not noticeable when being displayed)
It would've been nice to be able to switch between the two interior designs, and would not have required many extra pieces

Overall, still a 5* set for me because of how nice the finished product looks and the light feature.

Having spent a good deal of time in London over the past 20 or so years, I had this set on my wish list. When I was notified that it was being retired, I purchased it immediately. However, when it arrived and my wife saw it, it just as immediately became HER build and she's absolutely loving it!

This was an another fun build from LEGO. Two things can make this a great build. First, have the light pole light. Second, have both the light from the booth and pole light from the same switch, but a switch that has a ON/OFF. This way you can display it at night in your home without having to hold the light switch.

Amazing Ideas Set

This was overall an incredible set and very fun to build. Being able to choose between two different phone styles is also a plus. The light in the top is also incredibly nostalgic. Overall, incredible set! Ideas always has some of the best sets.
