Got this for my husband and he loves it. He has it on his work desk. Now he is excited that the original BumbleBee is coming out. So I’ll be getting that for him 7/1.
It is my biggest Optimus Prime, even with their power suits or other attachments. Lots of fun to build, simple but effective transformation. And looks reeeeaaalllyyy goooooood. 11/10
Definitely a unique build because it transforms from standing character into a vehicle so you can play with it as a toy or have it stand as 2 different looks
The build started good and somewhat enjoyed it. The struggle was when I started playing with the finished build. A few pieces tends to fall off. Either or both legs would fall. Small pieces on the crotch would fall. And most definitely Optimus prime would always break from the hip. I have to be really careful and holding the set a certain way, or else the bottom half would come off 80% of the time. Transforming to the truck and back is somewhat of a struggle since the pieces are not held together well. So I gave up playing with it and just have it on display.
This build was fun! I enjoyed building this with my wife as we talked about our childhood. Play time with this is limited as I broke off Optimus legs a couple of times and I didn't dare try to do it again. I hope in the future Lego can make it sturdy so I can transform this beautiful Optimus.
Easy build, lifelike movement and legos that actually transform. Come on. This was a fun build and if anymore come out I will definitely buy them. This is my 4th build and they keep getting better every time.
This model looks nice, but it is rickety and too fragile. Upon completion of the assembly, i tried to convert it to the truck form and the torso separated from the legs, and it is very time consuming to disassemble it just to put it back together. I wouldn’t recommend this set
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

That's not the kind of play experience we want you to have. Being able to convert Optimus Prime is part of the fun, so feel free to get in touch at LEGO.build/Service-BV for help and so we can get more info about the issue.
