Love the details and small play features like the matrix and weapons. The main annoying thing is the arm strength is terrible. It can’t hold the weapons up past a certain point, arm comes crashing down. Easier to transform than I expected. I’d recommend it even with the arm strength issue. Maybe it was just my set

We're sorry to hear your arm isn't as sturdy as it should be. It sounds like it might need a little rebuilding. Please reach out to our brick experts at LEGO.com/Service so they can help you get Optimus Prime back on tracks!
Totally awesome and the biggest set ever built in terms of how many pieces some what of a challenge for me but I built it and it turned out great Totally happy that I challenge myself and succeeded
As a kid of the 80's, this build had my 8 year old self ecstatic! Unfortunately, there were a two major design flaws, both in the waist.
1. The horizontal pivot point just below the chest keeps separating. Not the worst of the flaws but annoying nonetheless. 2. The hip connector (2 pieces) does NOT stay together. Seems to be one side thus far but is kind of a weak connection regardless.

it was a fun build lots of easter eggs but when trying to transform him he started to fall apart he is very fragile mainly around the waist and above legs were very strong
