I had a blast building this baby. Definitely not for beginners. Pay attention to detail and it also shows you how to transform it in the booklet. I had zero problems. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a challenge!

Haven't given it yet, he will be excited for sure.
He loves Technic equipment LEGOs. But we love movie sets as well.

Bad Build

This is the worst Lego I have tried to build. Every time we have built further steps and attempted to add them, the first parts break off, especially the head/torso region. It is frustrating having to go back to reattach it correctly each and every time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally a Lego Transformers set! They did it right starting with Optimus Prime, and now you can even get Bumblebee to go with him. Prime has great details and even transforms like the original toy
