Will There Be More?

First of all, this is one of the most fun sets I built in 2022. It reignited my interest in the first generation of The Transformers. If you can spend the money, I would absolutely go all in on this set. The build was very satisfying and the end result is SO amazing. Such a fun display and the interchangeable hands are incredible! I absolutely LOVE the inclusion of the laser axe-hand. That was such a nice addition.
Overall, I want more! Will we get Megatron? Starscream? BumbleBee? If the Lego Group makes more, I can guarantee them that I will be purchasing all of them. Ha ha ha! Cheers to the designer of Lego Optimus, it is marvelous!

If you enjoy your lego to fall apart...

I have purchased 100s of LEGO Sets, and this is by far the absolute worst set I have purchased. It needs to be engineered better to stay together and not fall apart when moving. Every joint falls apart easily, and other parts just fall off. Even when transforming pieces just randomly will pop off. I expected it to be better especially since the Voltron build was so incredible, and well thought out. It just doesn't compare. I can appreciate the idea, but the execution was garbage. It's not even in the same league. How did this even pass through quality control? I would have paid more to have a better product. This is such a let down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is really an amazing set. Brought back lots of memories of when I was a child watching Transformers. The quality and built is awesome. Just wish it came with the trailer. I hope that LEGO would release the trailer to include it with this build. Would also love to see The Original Megatorn. A perfect gift for any age and a fan of Transformers. I love this product and recommend it to everyone.

Disappointed by poor stability.

While building Optimus, I had a very hard time keeping parts from falling off. The whole model is very flimsy. It especially loves breaking at the pelvis/torso area, which is the core of the model. I was just holding it today and not even playing with it and the whole top half fell off and onto the floor and a piece broke in half. It was also missing a piece, which I had to order, and now I have to replace the piece that broke.
Transforming needs to be done delicately and I usually have to put elements back on that have fallen off during the process. It must be meant as a display model, because it's way to delicate to actually play with. As a side note, I don't know if the blocks themselves have gotten cheaper, but I've never had pieces just pop apart on any other set I've built. Blocks don't seem to satisfyingly snap together, they just kind of mush together. The arm joints are bad, too. After posing they usually droop to where ever they feel like. I've never been so disappointed by a Lego set. For how much it costs, I expected better.

Awesome Set; Great Detail and Playability

I'm stoked that Lego and Hasbro have made a G1 Optimus and they did it right. Looks great as a display but also he can transform into his cab-over truck form which makes it even better. I hope we see more G1 Lego Transformers... (cough cough Megatron)

Poor QA---missing parts and Poor play ability

Bought the Optimus Prime set for our son who is an advanced builder. He quickly experienced many missing parts over 8 pieces needed to be sent. Once built, the Optimus Prime was not play worthy or show worthy unless you super glued things down. Avoid
