exactly what i wanted. when i got my 1st dash with an adorable snowman, my initial thought back then was "they should just make these with removable plates so we can easily have many designs!" lo and behold, they eventually did, so i have now finally added this to my kitchen. i love it so much! perfect waffles every time and the plates are easy to swap out. i love that they are dishwasher safe, though i treat them gently in easy wash cycles and put them on the very top rack. i also use a very gentle detergent designed for baby bottles in my dishwasher
