POOR QUALITY!!!

I bought this about 2 hours ago got home and was super excited to use it, put the batter in and when it was finished I opened it and the waffle was stuck to the plates. You need a crowbar to get the batter off... non-stick my ... It took an 3 hours to clean, a complete nightmare, next time get the more expensive version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I buy alot of black and decker but this is a big dissappointment.Only had approx.less than 1 year and after fourth use does not heat.

I bought one years ago. Loved it. Iy unfortunately broke (hinges). I repurchased it 2 weeks ago and there is no comparison. It is not heating up well. The waffles get dark but are like a pancake and breaks. I'm really disappointed.

I have had my Black and Decker Belgian Waffle Maker for almost 7 years. It has served it's purpose well. my only complaint is that it doesn't have a reservoir for overflow. Because I like LOTS of batter. Also...After years of opening and closing... The little plastic pins or knobs in the hinge are worn out/cracked. This makes the top lid wiggle a bit too much. I will probably buy another one unless I could buy those parts to fix it. The griddles are well seasoned and the waffle maker is always a huge hit when my grand babies are around! THANK YOU Black & Decker.

Glad to see im not the only one with issues. Tried making waffles for me and my 2 sons and the waffle stuck bad to wear im scrappi g it off. We were all very disappointed with the Black & Decker waffle maker. Never again will i get one

Got this waffle maker for Christmas and went to use it for the first time this morning (Valentines Day). The elements under the cooking plates would not heat up past a "mild warm to the touch", even after leaving it plugged in before cooking for 30 minutes . The warming light would never stay on, as per the instruction booklet. Ruined morning brunch with the family.

I have used it 3 times with the same result. Top doughie, bottom over cooked and it sticks even after spraying with vegetable spray. See pic. Very unsatisfied. Throwing this way and finding a different brand. I wish I had my mothers old one 1960 I should have changed the plug.
