Nice quality; but a couple features could be improved.

The construction and materials are very nice. I do wish the Velcro flaps could be folded in because they ruined my clothes. There is no way to keep them folded back to prevent catching and snagging items. Also, the lowest height of the telescoping handle is a little too high for my shorter height (5’1”).
I would recommend the brand but not necessarily bags with these 2 issues.

Beautiful, but not right for me.

It's a beautiful piece of luggage but the zippers were tough to manage and it wasn't as easy to open as my current Travelpro carry-on. I'm sad to return it.

Another great roller bag from Travel Pro! I bought this on the Black Friday sale, and I liked it so much that I bought one as a gift for a friend.
I use it when traveling in Japan where luggage is small and high quality. I've had the international carry on for about 10 years and it's still going strong, so I trust this one to do a good job.

Almost Perfect

Traveling a lot, I’ve tried several types of carryons over the years, from 16” to 21. ” This size hits the sweet spot - not too small or too big. The Platinum Elite line proves that you get what you pay for with the materials, design and function top quality. It holds several days worth of clothing on a short trip, or all the necessities needed in case a larger suitcase fails to arrive upon landing when taking a long trip. The wheels roll very smoothly even if a heavy backpack is on top, and it doesn’t tip over when stationary. The only thing that could be changed is the Velcro strip/snap on the inside of the lid that prevent the case from opening fully. Compression straps would work much better and are not cumbersome. Also, the inside lid would be more functional with a full zippered mesh pocket. Overall, though, because of the quality and size, it’s a great travel addition.
