Mostly a plus

Was pleased with how rapidly it arrived with good communication about timing. Have used it on a long trip. Very sturdy. I will not use the hanging bag, but I can appreciate that it will be useful for business travelers. Some cons I noted. The outside pockets are quite small, and the little mesh containers inside just didn't work for me--practically nothing I travel with fit in them. Wheels definitely are a plus, although I needed to be careful the bag didn't get away from me. Also I was disappointed that the handle was a bit wide, so that it wasn't possible to loop my other carryon's strap over it. But I was able to travel with clothes for 2 weeks with it expanded. So a good carryon to have.

The bag lives up to it’s performance reviews. But you dishonestly market it as a 21 inch size. It is 23 inches high, with wheels and so will not meet international carry on requirements. Furthermore you don’t provide a phone contact so I had no way to request an exchange in a timely manner

Have the larger piece, which I love, and was looking for a smaller bag that I could carry on. The 21” delivers in spades. Its light, expandable, durable and matches my other larger luggage. Great carry on!

Excellent well made suitcase

Recently took my new Travelpro Platinum on its maiden trip. The suitcase is very well made and spacious. The wheels roll very easily. Inside the suitcase the different parts kept my clothes well organized throughout the trip.

Luggage for grown ups

When it arrived, my wife immediately commented “it’s luggage for an adult.” The materials and workmanship are top notch, and I don’t expect to have to use the excellent warranty. Interior space is good for the overall dimensions. Moving parts are smooth. Strap system inside is… different. Too soon to say if that’s good or bad.

Leaving tomorrow for a month long trip to Europe and only taking this roll-aboard. Only thing i have noticed in packing is that the expansion zipper doesn’t go all the way around the bag. I will know more how it works after we get home.
