I gave up on my old Travelpro roller bag since the spinner was more easy to handle and didn’t take up space behind you as the roller bags do. The compartment was just right for 2-3 day biz trips. I’ve been traveling for work for a couple of decades and only rely on Travelpro products. I’ve had to replace roller wheels and tightened the handle but otherwise the material can take the beating.

I have been traveling with a hodge-podge mix of bags and backpacks, but for a recent trip to Japan, one with a lot of rail travel, we needed a quality, easy to maneuver bag. This one fits the bill. The design is well thought out and capacious and the construction is very robust and cleanly finished. Very nice bag.

I purchased Elite 21"over a year ago and it has since flown on over 300 flights. It is a dream to navigate through airports and easily supports my breifcase on top as I walk. This bag is so good that I got one for each person in my family for a trip we just took to Australia. At times I was walking with 2 in each hand through the airport with no problem. Don't waste your time on any other product. This size has been accepted as carry-on all over the world on multiple different airlines. Bottom line: I am ridiculously frequent traveler and this bag is a rock star!

I was so happy with my 25" Platinum Elite Spinner that I just purchased a 21" Carry-On Spinner as well! I travel abroad for business constantly, with my trips ranging from three to 7 days. Now, I can choose between my two Platinum Elite Spinners depending on the length of my trip. The quality of the suitcase can't be beat and the wheels easily handle the cobblestone European streets. I'm especially impressed with the craftmanship and durability of the suitcase, while maintaining it's lightweight.

This is my second TP suitcase. The first one lasted 30 years and was like an old friend, traveling the world with me. Finally, the pull up handles failed and parts were no longer made. I was skeptical about a new suitcase, but have just used my new Platinum elite 21 for a european business trip. I am pleased that it is lighter (was able to take it as carry-on) and the four wheels work great. It's easier on my back than my old friend. The inside space is well organized and it's easy to compact my clothes, store cosmetics for a quick exit at security; overall well thought out. I am really happy with my purchase!
