Everything works smoothly and instructions are very clear. Because it is so similar to the 12 qt, getting it up and running was easy. Water bathing quarts was relatively easy though it does use a lot of water. The 17 qt canner did WB and PC as expected with no problems. I liked being able to stack short jars when PCanning. The only downside for me is that I'm 5'3" and the 17 qt is big and when filled with water, the inner pot is impossible for me to lift out so I do a lot of bailing. But not such a big bother considering how smoothly this canner works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best! I've canned for years and especially love water bath canning jams and jelly. This canner makes the process super easy, safe and fool proof! I only use Ball jars and this canner! Love it!!!

So blessed today. My presto pressure canner I got for Christmas from my hubby. Stopped working yesterday. I called the company, and they are sending me a new canner!! I had forgot to register it, but they are taking care of me. Great company!

I've always been afraid of pressure canning but this takes all the guess work out. I did a batch of chicken broth and it was very simple to follow the instructions. So happy with this purchase and how my world of canning has expanded
