Great cooling but oh-so loud!

Cools our master bedroom well, but boy is it noisy. I had another LG unit that was whisper silent so I thought this would be the same but not so. I love the remote and wi-fi options, however, if unit noise is important to you, you’d probably be better served with another model.

Terrible Energy Saver Mode

What a waste of money. How do you make an AC with an energy saver mode where
a. The fan NEVER turns off
b. The AC slowly warms the room
Setting an AC to eenergy saver is to avoid having it running ALL THE TIME, yet LG somehow thought their customers wanted an AC that would slowly allow the temperature of the room to crawl back up to 78 after having it set to 68.
It is too bad I cannot return this, but LG has definitely lost a long term buyer of their products.

Hey there! Being able to use energy-saving mode on your LG AC is always important, so you can keep it off whenever you need to. We recommend performing a power cycle on your unit by leaving it unplugged for about 5 minutes and then plugging it back in to see if this resets the unit. Defective Unit

Our unit was either defective or the loudest AC I’ve ever owned. It sounds like there is cheap plastic parts vibrating whenever the compressor turns on. I have to press a pillow against it to mitigate the noise if I want to get any sleep. Also, the unit barely does an adequate job cooling the room.
