Great Product despite confusing install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A beautiful, secure lock, with easy to use app allowing keyless entry, remote lock & unlock, and multiple entry codes. Installation was confusing with little help from the step by step instructions which assume that everything goes per plan. The hole in the door from the old lock was too small for the new one. Later it turned out that the width required by the new lock could be reduced by taking off an optional component. Also I kept the internal door latch from the old Schlage lock, which worked fine mechanically with the new lock but caused it to auto close. It took research to understand that the issue was caused by the old latch. Using the new latch resolved it. The product is good, but the installation FAQ should be more thorough.

Newer Version to replace my old Schlage

Great lock, worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. Nice app ui. Connects easily. I like the wifi and Bluetooth options. If I'm home and the wifi goes out, I still have control through Bluetooth. First set of Duracell batteries lasted almost 6 months with heavy daily use. Notifications work very well. Connects with Alexa. It's easy to set up access codes. All around very solid lock. I bought a couple of cheaper wifi locks (about a hundred each) for my back doors and there's an obvious the gap in quality. For example, the lock itself is only Bluetooth; the wifi connectivity is through a little hub that has to be within 10 yards of the lock. It works, but the app ui feels cheap, and the updates to get the status of the lock don't work, and the response is slower. So I'm actually glad I got to compare because it really shows how high quality this schlage lock is.
