Highly related, but not long lasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very secure locks and do everything I need: 20 codes (I only need 3), change the programming key if you want, key to open if needed.
The bad part is that I just installed the 4th lock on my garage door. The part that fails is a small pin and spring inside that engages the handle when you enter your code. That pin has failed on all three previous locks. You can try to fix it, but I've never been successful.
However, it is solid and heavy, and it has earned an ANSI Grade of 1. If they can fix the pin so it lasts more than 3 years I would be happy.
Oh, and go back to providing two keys. One key means I'll have to go to the hardware store so my wife and I can each have one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple, straight forward and elegant lock piece
