Wonderful to have an operating electric lock again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this today to replace a Kwikset model that became inoperable due to electrical corrosion.
We have contractors starting a remodel project at our house and needed a system that would allow them access as needed. The previous unit had a bunch of WiFi compatibility that was never needed and the electric lock would fail to operate or simply sense that it had not operated the deadbolt when it was in fact closed.
This system is much more user friendly and hopefully will last much longer. The 9v battery is a welcome change from having to perform operations to remove a cover plate, then retrieve a tray to change out 4 Aa batteries. I suspect the 9v will last longer as it doesn’t suffer from the requirement of operating the lock itself either.
Should be nice.

Easy to install. Will not last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I install these on all of our rentals, around 300-400 properties. Tenants are pretty rough on them, so they need to be replaced every other tenant on average. Locks are very easy to install and easy to program.

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a lock that you could attach to home security, however I never did attach it. It lasted for less than a year. Schlage replaced it. The replacement lasted for 5 years. I just purchased this one. Simple. Hoping it will be trouble free for a long time.

The best lock sets ever made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a builder for over fifty years and all I have ever installed were Schlage products. They are the most reliable locks ever. I have had the push button locks installed in my buildings for over twenty years. It so happened that one finally quit working and needed replacing. I went and bought the same lock that failed and installed it. I figure it will last another twenty years or so and that is all that can be expected of any lock. Schlage is the best product on the market and I recommend it everyone.
