We had no issues with our older model other than we are remodeling our home and wanted something to match the other hardware.

Very easy to install

Easy installation, it matches our current hardware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our front door a few years ago and we chose the Camelot series entry kit with the curved inside handle. When we decided that we needed a digital keypad for medical emergencies.
I checked to see if the store had the Camelot series digital lock in stock and purchased it. It was delivered within hour and a half, and I started the insulation soon after it arrived.

I have installed many deadbolts and door handles, so this was a straightforward installation except that the fiberglass laminate on the door wrapped into the hole for the door lock. That made it a little more difficult to install and it took longer, but it was still an easy installation. It only comes with one key, but we bought this in part so we didn't have to keep track of keys so it's no big deal. The only downside to just having one key is that if you lose that key you don't have another original to make copies from. I know you can use a copy to make a copy, but I have had instances where I made a copy from a copy got home and it didn't work. So you can either of you that it has one key as a negative, or you can just regard it and look at it the way we do.
The style of the schlage keypad deadbolt in the Camelot series that's exactly what we had, which is what I wanted. It looks good it was easy to program to our specific code(s), and we can program temporary codes in case we have visitors that need to enter the house while we're not home. I don't think that will ever need nineteen different codes, but that's how many codes can be programmed into this lock.
It has a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty, and a 3-year electronics warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!
