Great when its working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve gone through a couple of these because the actuator seems to quit after a year or two, and its always when we get a stretch of cold weather. I keep going with the same product because overall I like the product when its working properly and in my head being a mostly manual operation means less problems… that doesnt seem to be playing out and this is my last try.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our front door deadbolt with the Keypad Deadbolt and I wish we would've done it sooner!! With multiple children and extended family needing keys to our home, it makes it simpler to just use a code! No need to dig in a purse or fumble a key ring to find the right one.

Keypad deadbolt worked as expected for a few months. It then started misfiring where the actuator would audibly deploy but not engage, and the deadbolt knob would just spin without moving the deadbolt. I have removed the unit several times and attempted to adjust the actuator position to no avail. Frustrated, I replaced the unit. If this one doesn't work, I will hire a locksmith and swear off using Schlage products. Unfortunately, my door now has a huge hole that fits the Schlage device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
