easy installation, instructions incomplete

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought and installed this today to enable my 11 year old to get in without her kay. The installation was a breeze, but the instructions don't include anything about opening the door with your key (suspect I never will, but wondering what happens if the battery runs down) that I could find.
I found that inserting the key without turning while pushing the key and barrel away from you didn't seem to open the lock. If you turn while pushing, the barrel will rotate to a spot where it slides a quarter of an inch in and then the key engages and moves the bolt.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought another one of these to replace the one that I had that was the same. Has been a great lock. My tenants love having a keyless lock. I had actually gotten a good deal on a kwikset keyless lock and it was faulty so decided to go with the same one that had been there. Have had the old one for a while and no issues until recently. Very easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a nicer model in our front door for 5 years and are happy with in. We bought this one for our tool shed. Tired of walking outside to find out someone locked it. Seems to be working as expected. I had to cutout part of the aluminum door trim.
