Hands down the best locks made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Encode lock on all three of my houses and I just love them. They’re awesome for renters and contractors but even cool for us to not have to carry keys. It’s easy to let the neighbors in to feed the pets at a moments notice. It’s awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not say that the instillation instructions are all that thorough. For instance, you cannot use a previous deadbolt’s internal pieces and just attach the lock faces, as it will not function. This was not spelled out clearly in the manual. Also, the use of it is not intuitive and takes more finagling to understand what the icons and light colors indicate. I also learned that you can’t allow the deadbolt to rub alongside the inside portion of the doorframe as it will cause the battery life to expediently drain (within days). So far though, since learning those two critical points, it’s working as it should so far.
