Great for the family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a different automatic deadbolt but it was too difficult for the younger kids in my family. This one is so easy for them to open and lock. Plus, with the Apple Home linked, it’s easy to just tap my phone or Apple Watch and the door opens. It’s great when I had my hands full and I can just tap my watch. Overall, we are very pleased!

It’s been very convenient being able to open with a code with guests and kids along with the remote app access. We had been delaying upgrading locs and shouldn’t have waited! Solid choice with no issues yet!

Great lock, could use a few tweaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock specifically because it is compatible with Apple HomeKit. It works very will and was easy to install. A few improvements can be made. Make a rechargeable battery pack. Make the lock cylinder backwards compatible. I had to take it to a locksmith to rekey the lock to my existing key. It would have been easier to use the old Schlage lock cylinder. It is also very easy to type the wrong code because the keypad doesn’t illuminate until it is touched and it takes the input immediately when touched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Schlage’s Encode Plus smart lock has all the features you could possibly want. Auto-lock, remote programming, onetime codes, etc etc. I found the lock to be easily installed. Tolerances are good. It’s got solid construction. I’d buy another. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had alot of smart locks but this is my second encode and they work far better and have way more battery life. Only issue ive had was a busted battery which wasn't the locks fault. Unfortunately that is the reason I has to buy the second one.
