[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schlage Encode WiFi lock is like having my own futuristic starship. Every time I punch in the code I imagine myself entering a futuristic room. As long as it doesn’t attract anyone from the Dark side (criminals) or Solicitors, which are almost one and the same, I will be fine.
Setting it up was easy as most devices. I can even forego the keypad and unlock the door with my phone. I really can’t believe we are at this point. Maybe i’m getting old but this is amazing to me.
The WiFi feature adds an extra layer of convenience, especially when I forget if I locked the door on my way out. No more panic attacks at work thinking I left the front door wide open for the raccoons to raid my pantry like a bunch of pirates.
In all seriousness, the Schlage Encode is a reliable and high-tech addition to any home. Welcome to the future folks, I can’t wait to see what Schlage designs next. #maytheforcebewithyou
