Connected up to Apple Homekit fairly easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this installed today. The installation instructions were very easy to follow and I might have been done in 15 minutes if I did not have to paint the outside of the door. Even though this lock is bigger with the touch screen, the previous deadbolt covered further below the hole than the Encode Plus. I did have a problem after install. When entering the default user code, it would show a green checkmark and then flashed the red X (deadbolt did not move). The physical key worked fine and there was no binding when trying the lock manually. Tried reseting the batteries and measuring the voltage to ensure all four were new (batteries that came with the lock were Duracells). I then tried loosening the two screws that secure the inside part to the door (Step 7). The lock then began working. I had used a phillips screwdriver rather than a cordless driver per the instructions, but I must have torqued it enough to put too much resistance on the motor. At this point I was able to add it to Homekit and test out the Homekey and access code for access.

Warranty department and claim were very easy also. Thanks Schlage for outstanding workmanship and warranty.
