[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light display is extremely dim with direct sunlight. And the lock needs to be reset and issues with the lock locking and unlocking time to time.

What an incredible lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Encode and it is an incredible lock. First off, it's battery operated, so if the power goes out at home, you're not locked out. The app gives you an alert when the battery level is low. I use rechargeable batteries and always have a set charging when it's time to change. Changing them takes less than 2 minutes, it's a breeze. I can control the lock manually, with the app or use my Alexa echo. The install was simple, no problems at all and I had it installed in less than 10 minutes. There is a 9 digit keypad for your code and on it is a lock button for when you're leaving, no need to punch in a code. Another great feature is If you're out of town and need to give someone access you can do that through the app. All in all this lock is a great lock and in my opinion a great investment in making entry into your home easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying multiple other locks, I can strongly recommend anyone to Schlage Encode Plus. Home Key works reliably, Schlage app is friendly and notifications work perfectly without fail, locks works even in brutal cold (10 F) temperatures.
