WiFi is useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once installed it was very easy to setup and use. Just make sure when bolting it in, you keep it very aligned and leave barely loose. Too tight and it’ll never work. It’s nice getting notifications when it’s unlocked and locked. And I like the ease of locking from my phone if someone at home forgets.

Easy to install, Easy to use

Pros: Easy to install; easy to program; convenient to access remotely; security with giving people different codes and knowing exactly who unlocked the door and when; looks nice
Cons: we had a pretty bad storm and water got into the lock cause it to corrode and short out (but we replaced it with the same model because we liked it so much); the finish started to peel/chip away after a few years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart lock does it all!! Connects to the wifi. It has an alarm when the door opens and when there is a sudden jolt on the door. Easy to program, app is cake walk and anyone can use. I got the oil-brushed bronze to match my handle and it is gorgeous! I love this product. Well worth the money!!

A worthy upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had Schlage Sense smart locks with the separate WiFi controller. They worked, but the Encode is much nicer, and doesn’t need the separate WiFi controller. I really like the feel of the Encode lock mechanism each time I use it. The sound & feel speaks to improved engineering. The touchpad is also more responsive.
