Built in WiFi lock.. would give zero stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own a Schlage lock with the separate WiFi adapter (two actually) so we do have something to compare this item to. We purchased the one with the built in WiFi since it was the one readily available (the other one didn’t seem to be made anymore). We purchased one and the battery drained very fast. We tried different things recommended by Schlage and they determined that lock was defective. They sent a replacement lock. We recently install it and the batteries are completely drained in less than a month with the newest lock. Our separate WiFi one does not require a battery change even within a year so far (MAYBE 6 months). But it’s so infrequent enough I don’t know how often it’s changed. But there’s a significant difference in these products and it’s too costly to replace batteries every 3 weeks. We’ll be on the hunt for another product
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these; one for my front door and one for the back door. They were easy to install and rekeying them was a breeze. I like the fact that they have built in-WiFi so the smart house integration is hassle-free. The locks are durable and the batteries last for a few months depending on how often they’re working automatically. If you want a secure, convenient, and good looking lock then look no further!
