[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in order to use my phone to tell when the door is securely locked and when it is open. The problem is that, of course, it monitors the lock itself, not the door. In other words, the door can be open, but the lock closed. An employee could conceivably engage the lock but leave the door open. Another door issue: while testing the remote features when I first got the lock, I unlocked the door remotely, but then could not lock it again! The door released when the lock was opened and moved just enough inward so that the mechanisms were no longer aligned! I could not lock it! I had to jump in the car and rush to the building, a half hour away, to pull the door tight. All that time, anyone could have entered! So yes, the lock itself and the WiFi work fine, but be aware that it’s not foolproof.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lock. It works very well, but be sure to use energizer Max batteries not the regular kind. Otherwise you will begin to have issues.

Great Lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock has been fantastic for me since install! I no longer fear locking myself out of the house, and love that I can come and go with my iphone or Apple Watch.
My only complaint is that install was a huge pain. I’m very handy and didn’t struggle putting the whole thing together. The part that I got stuck on was the deadbolt strike plate. They made it maybe 1mm bigger than the deadbolt. Really? I never want a bad alignment on a door, but an electronic lock just won’t work if that’s the case. Not sure if there’s a reason this tolerance has to be so tight, but I feel like it should have a little more wiggle room on the height adjustment (so it can be a little higher or lower). Would have saved me over an hour… but I digress.
